After missing a year, due to the pandemic, the Arkansas Choral Society is getting back together to do Part I of Handel's Messiah, with a 25 voice choir and members of the Arkansas Symphony. The four soloists will also sing with the choir and Worthy is the Lamb and the Alleluia Chorus will be added to end the performance.
Admission: $20 for adults, $15 for students. Purchase in advance at lovetosing.org or at the door.

David will be singing the role of the Archangel Uriel with Rhodes Mastersingers and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

Opera Memphis' 30 Days of Opera returns to Levitt Shell on September 1-23, 2018. This annual concert will feature a performance of Movin' Up in the World plus songs from Les Mis', Candide, Carmen, Spamalot, and many more. Bring your blanket and something good to eat and drink! The Triumph of Honor is Alessandro Scarlatti's only comic opera. I'll be playing Flaminio Castravacca, the uncle of the romantic lead, Riccardo, who gets involved in a love triangle while traipsing across Italy with his friend. The show will be in Italian with English supertitles.
